Sylvie was as much family as they were a pet. He accompanied me through life for 35 years since I was 5 years old.

When my parents gifted this adorable baby frog to me as a Kindergarten Graduation present, no one could have guessed how long he would be with us.

We didn’t know until many years later but Sylvie was an African Clawed Frog. Fully aquatic. He loved hiding in his tree log and was a master escape artist sometimes leaving his tank when we weren’t looking. Even when feeding him was fun, watch him “clapping” with his front hands when eating. He will always be remembered as an adorable, mischievous, and tenacious “Little Dude”.

Sylvie will be dearly missed and loved forever.
